Eulogy for a baby “full of life”

October 1, 2009

Kyle and Genese Cupp’s baby Vivian had been diagnosed with anencephaly via ultrasound. Although the condition precluded a long life for their baby girl, in a splendidly distilled apologia for life, Kyle and Genese responded by welcoming her anyway. You see, “Love has no time constraints.” The Cupps have allowed God’s creative love to transform what most would see as a tragedy into a wonderfully transcendent “sad, glorious song.”

The National Catholic Register has their story here. Kyle blogs here, where he has posted a lovely eulogy for baby Vivian.
