Andover “Little Miss” pageant becomes celebration of life for one family

Great story about a little girl with trisomy 18 and a special way to celebrate her life  – a local township beauty pageant.  While this article  reads at times like a litany of disabilities and medical problems, at heart it’s about a family so happy that their little girl is among the survivors of this syndrome. Can you see the pride  and love in this Dad’s gesture? So sweet!

Dressed in a white party dress with a purple sash and bows, several of the little girl’s family members and friends cheered from the front row.

“When I had her, the hospital gave her 24 hours to live,” said Aniella’s mother, Susan Aragona. “I can’t say she’ll have this opportunity next year.” continue
